DETAILS

Nutrazinc® is a proven nutritional supplement for working dogs (sled dogs, hunting dogs, and herding dogs).

This amazing supplement is the most economical source of dietary zinc available on the market! Nutrazinc contains no additives, fillers, or stabilizers in the product. The product is zinc gluconate in its purest form, readily bioavailable for absorption in the dog’s gut.

Nutrazinc® has been successfully used by many top mushers and top breeders for years. Feeding Nutrazinc® helps to promote tougher feet and healthier coats in dogs. Its use reduces the occurrence of splits and cracks in-between toes, as well as nail breakage. Supplementing Nutrazinc® to show dogs will help to keep their coat in top condition. Furthermore, Nutrazinc® should be fed on a daily basis to dogs suffering from zinc deficiency, a common condition in northern breeds. Signs of zinc deficiency (zinc-responsive dermatitis) can also be observed in other breeds being fed low-quality "supermarket" types of dry food.

The maintenance dose is 2.5 included scoops for 50 lbs. of body weight (or one included scoop for 20 lbs. of body weight).

The 8 oz. jar is recommended for single dog owners. Contains approximately 888 individual doses.

Raiden

Raiden just turned 2 years old, but has been plagued with zrd since he was one. He also has inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), so giving him anything flavored is tricky. When he started losing all his fur and scratching at his face until his ear and lips were bleeding, he stopped eating, seemed depressed and we think he had a few seizures, we took him in for allergy testing. Luckily the Vet we saw recognized zrd, so we did not do an allergy test, but started zinc sulfate and prednisone. We now know how hard this is on his tummy and the lesions never really went away. Whenever we stopped the prednisone, the lesions and itching came back. Then we found Zinpro and gave until we found out he had IBD. This product is beef flavored and again his lesions never fully went away. The Vet put him back on sulfate. I did some research and found Nutrazinc. It is July 9th now and we started the Nutrazinc on June 4th, so roughly a month. I am not able to give him the full recommend dose since he does not eat enough and if I give him too much at once, he vomits. On average he is only getting 50 mg a day and he is 82 lbs. I am astounded by the difference even though he isn't getting the full dose. The pictures will show that the lesions have cleared. There is a small amount of pink still under the fur, but he is 1000% better. We love that this is unflavored. We give it to him with clear vegetarian gel capsules and spoon the powder into the capsule and cover it just enough with Nutri-cal so it slides down his throat. Our Vet was astounded as well and took a picture of the Nutrazinc container i brought with me and said he will start recommending this product now. Thank you for a wonderful product!

Highly Recommend!!!!

Our Lab/Husky mix Bailey had a severe zinc deficiency and after months of vet visits and a biopsy my husband found this product on google. After 6 weeks of using the severe dosage recommended she looks like she never had a deficiency. Now she’s on a lower maintenance dosage of this product and she looks great. I am so thankful for this product.
